Vivienne Westwood's A/W'11 collection is a collaboration with the Ethical Fashion Programme "that supports the work of over 7,000 women who live in conditions of extreme poverty but who have a strong desire to improve their lives" by providing them with jobs and new skills. It's ethical fashion at it's highest with the slogan "this is not charity, it is work" and her famous designs are now taking centre stage in the backdrop of derelict locations in a very beautful and friendly Kenya. There's no sugar coating in this the campaign, which I love, and I especially love the contrast of high-end fashion with the not so high end locations.
