Jourdan Dunn, Jasmine Tookes + Anais Mali in W Magazine's march 2012 issue. From bold tribal prints in feminine silhouettes to chunky necklaces they are dressed head to toe in Spring trends. Not in love with the styling in this shoot but all is forgiven because the accessories are to die for!!

Bare Necessities

Solange isn't the only keeping up with the 1940/50's exposed midriff trend that has been around for years, but is finally making it's mark on the catwalks, red carpet and in editorials in a big way.

Note: Belly buttons should be out of sight - this isn't SJP circa 1990's Sex + the city trend.
For those like me that aren't too confident with exposing your stomach area there are options like dresses with sheer layering and cut-outs that only show a peek of midriff. So we can all have a piece of midriff action- yay! Bare in mind (ha!) that the fitted/tailored/structured pieces look best.

Swept Away: Jourdan Dunn x Daria Strokous

Vogue Japan April' 12 issue. If only being shipwrecked looked this good. I love the use of metals in this shoot because they are water like - reflective and cold. The chunky statement necklaces are beautifully styled in each look, giving an edge to the ladylike outfits. In the transition from day to night, you see they become less inhibited and their outfits become more vibrant.
