King Bey x Topshop

Beyonce in a long sleeved crop top and tube skirt by Topshop. She added a pop of colour to this monochrome number with coral pumps. This outfit cost £36 ($54)...it's all about how you wear it ladies..the fxck the price tag!!! Love this look..head to toe.

I'm starting to notice a trend here! Crop tops are/have made a comeback and if styled well I think it can work for women of any size...emphasis on IF STYLED WELL!!!

Possibly one of my favourite shops- AquabyAqua is a womens + mens wear designer featuring simple pieces with an edge. Clients include Lala Anthony, Paloma faith, Leanne la havas, Alexandra Burke etc.

They currently have a sale with pieces up to 1/2 price! I like the designs mainly because they go up to a UK 16 (US 18) and since I'm a UK 14..It means I'm not restricted to certain items. Ohhh and another thing..if you've got curves their clothes are perfect for accentuating the right areas and if you dont have curves..they are also great for giving you a little extra ompff! Win Win!!!

The couple that styles together....jayonce or jelena?

Out of the two couples, who has the better style?

Jay-z + beyonce:

As a couple, Jayonce don't always go matchy matchy and to me it shows how "normal" and grown they are. The girl that dresses up to the T and the guy that isn't really bothered; just give him some timbs, a tee and a jacket and he's ready to go. Jay-Z isn't exactly going to win 'Most stylish male celeb' with vogue, but one thing I like about him is that he stays true to himself - he is more about personal preference than fashion trends. Beyonce likes to experiment with fashion which results in some hits and misses but in the last year or so she has done a 360 and become a fashionista in her own right (will do a post about that later)!

 

Justin Beiber + Selena Gomez:

What can I say, they are both young so the fashion world is their oyster. Selena is girl next door that can give you glam at a moments notice.  Justin beiber is a great example of someone who is still trying to figure out what style suits the most. I do think he needs to wear more tailored clothes -but like I said he's young so he has plenty of time to figure out what works for him. Selena dresses like most girls her age - relaxed and fun.

 To me neither couple dresses exceptionally well but if I had to chose it would be Bey + Jay, simply because they both have personal style and seem to have found their "fashion identity" whereas the beibs and selena arent quite there yet.

It just comes to show that money can't buy you style most of the time.

Spotted: MARNI X H+M

Model Eva Marcille in a Marni for H+M african print skirt. I love how she styled this look -- going for an African Safari vibe with the earthy tones from head to toe. Her exposed midriff is the perfect amount of skin to show especially since the skirt is knee length....and how hot are her shoes (what are they?)!!!*jaw drops*

Pyjama Trend

The moment I think I like the Pyjama trend someone decides to look stupid in it and changes my mind. It doesn't look on everyone and I think styling and fit is key with a trend like this. In my opinion a trend is only good if you can look back and think you didn't look like a fool.

Solange @ Stuart Weitzman event

At the event in New York, Solange wore Stuart Weitzman 'capsize' pumps in Salad Aniline. Her colour blocking ensemble is lovely. I found similar pieces (or might be the actual one) from Giambattista Valli's new collection and a silk-satin top (still trying to find out).
